About the Role
We are hiring Pit Laborers to join our pneumatic boring (missile) crews in Kentucky. You will be responsible for digging, cleaning, and
preparing entry and exit pits, as well as performing the heavy lifting required to keep boring operations running. This is a physically
demanding but rewarding entry-level position with clear pathways for advancement into equipment operation roles.
What You Will Do
- Dig, clean, and prepare entry and exit pits for boring operations
- Assist with setting up and breaking down boring equipment
- Handle conduit, tools, and materials as needed by the Bore Operator
- Perform backfill, compaction, and site restoration
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Assist with loading/unloading equipment and materials
- Follow all safety protocols and participate in daily safety meetings
What We Are Looking For
- No prior experience required - this is an entry-level position
- Strong work ethic and physical fitness
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and labor-intensive tasks
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Safety-first mindset
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Willingness to travel as projects require
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
