Job Description

This is FTTH for spectrum PON, full nodes of 150 taps each. If you do not have enough people to complete 1 node each month minimum, then you will have to share a node with another company.

From pigtail to splitter cans to end of line, you are expected to produce a high quality product per our specifications.

If the case can easily be reached with a bucket it HAS to be strapped out, bucket trucks are not required.

All nodes do not have light, so you will be putting a light source on each 1x32 leg you work on and leave only that case on the ground. You hang the splitter case after you are done with all the taps and locations for that leg.

Aside from ftth if you are experienced enough, we have bau, outages and nightcuts. These jobs pay a little less, but you're able to move a lot faster and usually A LOT more splices. Outages get paid hourly until you start the work, then it switches to production and YOU GET TO CHARGE BOTH.

You will be expected to produce at least 4 locations a day, 5 days a week out of 7. If you're coming from out of town you are required to schedule your time back home and time off has to be approved as to keep general production moving.

You will fill out a detailed splice sheet for each location and email your location will all pictures each evening using our specifications. You will also be required to update a daily google sheet every single day with what locations were completed in each node for that day.

Correct grounding is required for every case

Ample examples will be given for how each locations is required to be completed, if specifications are not met you WILL HAVE to go back and fix promptly or risk not being paid for that entire location.

Anything above 6ft off the ground you MUST have harness and hard hat. You are not allowed to block any state road without flaggers at any time. 1st offense is immediate termination.

The average payout is $4500/week with techs ranging from 2800 to over 7000 each week deepening on experience.

Lead technician for every crew/company must be able to speak and write fluent English. The owner/foreman of each group is 100% responsible for making sure everyone they manage is operating within compliance of FIbercron rules and regulations. Only 1 person from each company will be able to submit their final paperwork and update the daily completion logs.

People needing to be trained will be setup under another working company until they can be established. Training is solely up to availability within each subcontractor, Fibercron LLC and partners are hands off once you are determined 'unable to complete the job per our specifications' and are recommended to training.

Each month you will have a node of about 150 (taps, b cans, d cans, coffins, etc we use about 22 different enclosures)
You will be required to complete transport from previous node to your current node through dwdm
This is a PON system so you will have 4 fibers off pigtail after you complete continuity, then up to 8 splitters in the field
You have 1 month to complete all locations, get light readings and have all splitter cans hung
For each location you plan to get paid for you will write a detailed data sheet and submit by email every day

Once your work week has been completed you will receive a google sheet with all locations you did, what charges apply to each location, and you will have 3 weeks to double check your pay sheet and let us know about any discrepancies.

We do not hold hands, you are expected to go to the correct warehouse for each job with the utmost professionalism, use the correct equipment, manage your own time and troubleshoot your own problems.

We are hiring starting the end of March,
You must have contract signed and Fibercron as COI holder on file before your official start date or risk your start date being moved up to a month away from original start date.

About Us

We are a fiber splicing management company who provides fiber splicing solutions to parent companies for over 10 years. We have 5 area managers for each office and up to 7 crews working full time in each area. We only promote from within the company and the only person you have to deal with is your area manager and sometimes the owner if he's in the field.

We are looking to grow big enough so our lowest paid tech still makes over 150k/year with guaranteed work year round, and that can only happen if we have quality techs that we can count on.
