Qualifications
Experience: 1-4 years of telecommunications installation experience, with expertise in fiber, copper, and/or coaxial terminations and testing.• Certifications/Skills: Fiber, copper, and/or coax certification or equivalent experience. Experience with fiber optic cabling, terminations, testing, and troubleshooting (Corning and EXFO certifications are a plus). Familiarity with JMA compression connectors, Anritsu Sweep, and PIM testing. Knowledge of building fire and electrical codes (preferred)

Travel required nationwide for project assignments lasting 4–6 weeks at a time with short breaks between deployments. Travel exceeds 60% of the role. Valid driver’s license required. Must pass criminal background check, drug screening, and pre-employment physical. Must provide basic hand tools.
Job Description
We are hiring experienced Distributed Antenna System (DAS) Technicians to support nationwide in-building wireless deployments. This is a hands-on installation role working with fiber, coax, and DAS head-end equipment on enterprise and commercial wireless projects.
Technicians will work as part of an installation team responsible for installing DAS infrastructure, performing cable terminations and testing, and supporting system integration.
This role requires travel to project sites across the United States.
Key Responsibilities
Install DAS infrastructure including indoor and outdoor antennas, coax cable, fiber optic cable, CAT5/6, CATV, and DC power cabling following NEC standards.
Place, route, secure, and terminate coax and fiber cables.
Install coax connectors including JMA, Andrews, and similar compression connectors.
Perform fiber fusion splicing and OTDR testing.
Perform RF sweep testing and PIM testing using Anritsu or similar equipment.
Assist with installation and integration of DAS head-end systems including rectifiers, battery systems, VoltServer, Commscope iON systems, JMA TEKO, and Corning Mobile Access systems.
Work with monitoring systems including routers, IP switches, broadband backhaul circuits, and alarm systems.
Read and follow construction drawings, design prints, and installation documentation.
Maintain accurate documentation including redline prints, test results, and project updates.
Work independently or assist crew leads in completing installation tasks.
Assist with warehouse inventory and staging of project materials when required.
Minimum Qualifications
1–4 years telecommunications installation experience.
Experience working with fiber optic, coaxial, or copper cabling.
Experience installing, terminating, and testing fiber optic cable.
Experience performing coax cable terminations and testing.
Experience using sweep testing equipment and PIM testing equipment preferred.
Experience with fiber fusion splicing and OTDR testing preferred.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and installation prints.
Basic knowledge of building fire codes and electrical codes preferred.
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excel.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds unassisted.
Ability to climb ladders repeatedly (6 to 14 feet).
Ability to work in confined spaces including attics and drop ceilings.
Ability to walk job sites while carrying ladders, tools, and materials.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Comfortable working at heights up to 30 feet.
Ability to work night shifts when required.
