Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years in-building DAS installation. Cable installation experience in IT, RF, electrical, or telecom environments. Fiber fusion splicing, terminations, cleaning, and OTDR testing. RF Sweep and PIM testing experience. Knowledge of UMTS, GSM, LTE networks, antenna and cable theory. Ability to read construction drawings and design plans. Field leadership or technician supervision experience. RF test equipment experience. Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel preferred).

Other Requirements

Travel required nationwide for deployments lasting 4–6 weeks with short breaks between rotations; travel exceeds 60% of role. Valid driver’s license required. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs unassisted. Ability to climb and descend ladders (6–14 ft). Comfortable working in confined spaces such as attics and drop ceilings. Ability to walk job sites while carrying ladders, tools, and materials. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in hot or cold conditions. Must provide basic hand tools and pass BG.

Job Description

We are hiring experienced Lead DAS Installers for nationwide in-building wireless deployments. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing crews of 3–5 installers while actively performing DAS installation, testing, and system integration.
Projects include enterprise and commercial DAS builds with extensive travel.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise DAS installation crews.
Install DAS infrastructure including antennas, coax, fiber, CAT5/6, and DC power cabling.
Terminate coax connectors (JMA, Andrews, Trilogy).
Perform fiber fusion splicing and OTDR testing.
Perform RF sweep and PIM testing.
Install and integrate DAS systems including Commscope iON, JMA TEKO, and Corning Mobile Access.
Read construction drawings and installation prints.
Maintain job documentation and coordinate with project managers.
Requirements
5+ years in-building DAS installation experience.
Strong background in telecom, RF, or low-voltage cabling.
Experience with fiber splicing and OTDR testing.
Experience with PIM and sweep testing.
Ability to lead and mentor installation technicians.
Experience with RF test equipment (Anritsu, spectrum analyzers, sweep gear).
Ability to read construction drawings.
Valid driver’s license required.
Travel & Physical Requirements
Nationwide travel required (4–6 week deployments).
Travel exceeds 60% of role.
Ability to lift 80 lbs.
Comfortable working on ladders and in confined spaces (attics/drop ceilings).
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
Must provide basic hand tools.
Background check, drug screening, and physical required.
