Qualifications
Must be able to pass a background check. Preferred 3+ years of experience installing commercial CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems. Must be capable of wiring intrusion and access control panels. Active safety certifications preferred (OSHA, aerial lift, fall protection).
Other Requirements
Low voltage/electrical hand tools required. Please have a drill with multiple batteries to avoid delays.
Job Description
We are seeking an (preferably local) experienced Security and Low Voltage Technician for a physical security upgrade project at the Pittsburgh Air Force Reserve Station.
Daily responsibilities include:
Installing and configuring security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and the installation of conduit where needed.
Mounting, wiring, and focusing IP cameras across various secure locations.
Wiring intrusion and access control panels, relays, and associated door hardware.
Pulling, routing, and terminating fiber optic cabling through new and existing conduit pathways. Manholes included.
Reading commercial blueprints and riser diagrams.
Maintaining a highly professional, clean, and safe work environment on a secure military installation.
Adhering to all facility security protocols, OSHA regulations, and safety standards.
