Job Description
Lighthouse Technologies is seeking an experienced Directional Drill Operator / Locator to support telecom construction projects!
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate horizontal directional drilling equipment
- Perform underground boring, conduit installation, and pullbacks
- Read and interpret locating information and resolve utility conflicts
- Drill in various soil conditions and around existing utilities
- Oversee crew members and ensure safe, efficient operations
- Conduct equipment inspections and daily maintenance
- Complete post-job quality checks
- Travel up to 50% as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Prior telecom directional drilling experience
- Experience operating Vermeer, Ditch Witch, or similar drills
- Valid Class A CDL
- Dig Safe certification
- Experience operating excavators or backhoes
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Team-oriented with leadership ability
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift 80–100 lbs
