Location: Raytown, MO (Kansas City Metro Area)
Salary: $80,000 base salary
Benefits:

• Performance bonuses:
o 0.5% of retention (eligible upon achieving 80% of budgeted goals; potential $7,125 per quarter)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to assist with overseeing and enhancing our underground and aerial construction projects. The ideal candidate will lead with integrity, foster a positive work culture, and ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cultivate a positive and productive work environment for all employees.
• Assist with overseeing the execution of all projects, ensuring compliance with schedules, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
• Provide leadership and direction to Underground, Aerial, and Splicing teams, including daily activities and weekly planning.
• Assist with operational aspects, including personnel functions and coordination with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Directs day to day field operations of up to 3 in house crews and up to 3 subcontract UG crews, including delegation of work,
accountability metrics, performance management, etc.
• Ensure successful management to attain daily, weekly and monthly goals
• Proactively manage changes in project scopes; can effectively forecast delays and/or issues and creates solutions for any strategic changes that need to occur to ensure the overall project success.
• Strategic forward-thinking leader; drives and participates in the strategic planning and ability to perform all functions within the crews.
• Determine field staffing needs in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
• Accountable, self-motivated, self-managed to complete tasks within deadlines provided and holds others accountable to the same expectations; ensures processes are complete with a high level of follow through and follow up.
• Assist with necessary actions to meet budgetary and scheduling requirements.
• Review field purchases, equipment rentals, extra work authorizations in coordination with the operations manager.
• Maintain professional relationships with staff, vendors, subcontractors, and customers, ensuring clear communication.
• Gain proficiency in customer construction management software.
• Can work in the field and out of town (approximately 30%)
• Daily activity on construction project sites. Must wear common PPE and safety equipment such as safety glasses, hard hats, vests, steel toed boots, etc. Being safe 100% of the time is the expectation.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in project management within the construction industry, preferably in underground and aerial projects.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software is a plus.
