Job Description
The fiber cable splicer shall be proficient in all aspects of fiber optic cable splicing, cutover activities, and testing procedures. Overtime compensation shall be paid at one and one-half (1.5) times the technician’s standard hourly rate. The term “Truck & Tools” encompasses all tools, test equipment, and vehicles necessary for the splicer to effectively perform the required functions. Truck, tools, and miscellaneous materials shall be compensated at straight-time rates only.
