Pay
Pay ranges from $24 to $30 per hour depending on experience. Overtime is available, and coverage for travel and accommodations in the designated work areas is included.
Qualifications
Candidates must have experience with fiber optic splicing, be able to operate a fusion splicer, troubleshoot and test fiber using an OTDR, be willing to travel and work long-term in Louisiana, work under pressure to meet deadlines, work extended hours when needed to complete projects, and possess a valid driver’s license.

Not mandatory but, ability to operate a bucket truck
Job Description
We are hiring a full-time Fiber Optic Splice Technician who is willing to travel. This position will primarily support a long-term project in Louisiana that is expected to last several years.
The technician will be responsible for operating a fusion splicer, splicing and terminating fiber optic cable, troubleshooting fiber issues, and testing fiber using an OTDR. Basic splice and test documentation will also be required. All necessary equipment will be provided by the company. The technician may also be required to operate a bucket truck when needed.
The ideal candidate must be able to work under pressure to meet project deadlines and be willing to work longer hours when needed to complete a project.
