What You’ll Be Doing:
Perform residential fiber optic installations from drop to activation
Install and test fiber lines, ONTs, modems, routers, and Wi-Fi equipment
Complete inside wiring, wall fishing, exterior routing, and clean installs
Troubleshoot fiber signal, connectivity, and customer service issues
Educate customers on equipment usage and basic network setup
Ensure all installs meet company, safety, and telecom standards
Accurately complete work orders and documentation
Maintain tools, vehicle, and inventory professionally
What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in residential fiber or broadband installations
Strong understanding of FTTH / FTTP installations
Experience using fiber tools (light meter, power meter, cleaver, etc.)
Ability to troubleshoot internet, signal, and Wi-Fi issues
Comfortable working indoors/outdoors and at heights (ladders)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Preferred:
GPON network experience
Fiber termination or splicing experience
Previous telecom provider or contractor experience
OSHA or safety certifications
Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 50 lbs
Climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work in confined spaces
Work in varying weather conditions
Compensation & Benefits:
