Milenium Inc. is actively seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead and oversee Outside Plant (OSP) construction operations in the Pensacola, FL market. This is a full-time, field-based leadership role responsible for managing crews, schedules, quality, safety, and client coordination across complex telecom and utility infrastructure projects.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who understands the realities of field construction, holds teams accountable, drives schedules forward, and ensures every project is delivered safely, on time, and to spec.

As the Quality Control Supervisor, you’ll lead field quality assurance operations, ensuring project execution meets Milenium’s rigorous standards for safety, quality, and performance. You’ll be the primary liaison for quality inspections and a key resource for the project management teams.

Position Overview: What You’ll Do

As a Construction Manager, you will oversee all aspects of field construction operations, acting as the primary point of leadership between crews, subcontractors, project managers, municipalities, and clients. You’ll ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with engineering plans, permits, and regulatory requirements.

You are accountable for production, quality, safety, and communication across multiple active job sites.

Key Responsibilities

-Manage daily construction operations across multiple active OSP job sites (trenching, HDD, aerial, underground, and restoration).
-Lead, mentor, and hold accountable field supervisors, foremen, and crews.
-Plan and execute project schedules, ensuring production goals and milestones are met.
-Ensure all work complies with approved engineering, permits, NESC, OSHA, and local regulations.
-Coordinate closely with project managers to manage scope, manpower, materials, and equipment.
-Conduct routine field inspections to ensure workmanship quality, safety compliance, and documentation accuracy.
-Proactively identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, delays, or risks before they impact schedules or budgets.
-Interface with municipalities, inspectors, utility owners, and permitting agencies as needed.
-Review daily reports, production tracking, and job cost data; provide accurate updates to leadership.
-Enforce Milenium’s “Nobody Gets Hurt” safety culture across all crews and subcontractors.
-Support damage prevention efforts, utility coordination, and issue resolution.
-Oversee site restoration and closeout activities to ensure client and municipal acceptance.

Required Experience & Skills
-5+ years of experience in OSP, telecom, or utility construction.
-3+ years in a supervisory or management role, such as Construction Manager, Superintendent, or General Foreman.
Strong working knowledge of:
-Underground and aerial fiber construction methods
-Directional drilling and trenching operations
-Utility coordination and damage prevention
-Solid understanding of NESC, OSHA, and local/state construction regulations.
-Proven ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously.
-Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
-Ability to read and interpret construction plans, permits, and schedules.
-Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction/project tracking software.
-Self-motivated, organized, and decisive under field conditions.

Additional Requirements
-High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
-Valid, unencumbered Driver’s License.
-Must live within or be willing to relocate to the St. Louis, Missouri
-Ability to travel daily to job sites; travel expenses covered.
-Comfortable working outdoors in active construction environments for extended periods.
