We’re seeking an experienced Fiber Optic Splicing TECH who currently resides in New Mexico to join as an independent 1099 contractor for a long-term project. Expect steady work across multiple markets with top compensation for skilled, tool-equipped splicers.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)
- 5-7 years of hands-on fiber optic splicing experience, including splicing techniques.
- Proven track record of high-quality fusion splicing in diverse environments.
- Must be tooled up with your own fiber optic splicing tools (fusion splicer, cleaver, OTDR, power meter, etc.).
- Ability to read splice diagrams, schematics, and OTDR traces; strong documentation skills.
- Safety-focused with relevant certifications and ongoing training.
