Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have at least 1yr of experience in broadband, cable, or telecom installations. They must be proficient in running and terminating Cat5e/6, or fiber optic cabling and be comfortable installing and configuring modems, routers, and Wi-Fi networks. A basic understanding of networking and signal testing is essential, along with the ability to troubleshoot connectivity and equipment issues in the field.

Valid drivers license, Vehicle, tools, ladder rack, ladders, safety equipment, PPE, etc..
Job Description
ZelusX is seeking a reliable and skilled Broadband Installation Technician to install, test, and troubleshoot residential broadband services. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with broadband and network installations, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in the field.
• Install and activate broadband internet, modems, routers, and related equipment
• Run and terminate coax, Cat5e/6, or fiber cables as needed
• Perform signal testing and speed verification
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and replace faulty components
• Educate customers on proper equipment use and answer service-related questions
• Complete all required documentation and service reports
• Ensure neat, safe, and code-compliant installations
