Job Description
-Knock on each door telling the homeowner that we are building the Ziply network and can direct bury the drop to their home at no cost to them so if in the future they decide to use Ziply services it will be a very quick installation process.
-Must have the yellow door tags and leave my phone number and name on it if nobody answers the door
-If the customer does want the service and it CAN BE direct buried, bury the drop to the home and place the NID on the side of the house with a GOOD light level recorded at the house
-If the customer does not want us to bury but it could be trenched in without obstructions, lay out the drop to the home leaving 25' extra, splice on the NID, then coil it back into the FP.
-If the drop CAN NOT BE trenched due to asphalt/concrete obstructions, lay out the drop to the home leaving 25' and coil the drop back into the FP but DO NOT splice on the NID.
-PLEASE be extremely careful digging up the 30' coil where you will perform the mid-sheath. The fiber is not always protected and if you hit it, it is going to be a TON of work for you and cost you TONS of money....
