We are seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician specializing in Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) installations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structured cabling, fiber optic splicing, and troubleshooting low voltage systems

Job Description
Low Voltage Technician – Multi-Dwelling Units (Dallas/Fort Worth Area)
Responsibilities:
• Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (CAT5e, CAT6, fiber optic).
• Perform fiber splicing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance.
• Install and maintain access control, CCTV, and networking systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
• Work efficiently in multi-dwelling unit environments, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite while following all safety protocols.
Requirements:
• Must have a reliable vehicle for transportation to job sites.
• Possess ladders, basic hand tools, and fiber splicing equipment.
• Experience with low voltage wiring, fiber splicing, and terminations.
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve on-site.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Comfortable working on ladders, rooftops, and confined spaces.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications in fiber optics or low voltage systems (e.g., FOA, BICSI).
• Knowledge of local electrical codes and industry standards.
• Previous experience in MDUs, commercial buildings, or telecom installations.
