Construction Project Coordinator, PNW-East Region

A Telecom Construction Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring project activities meet lifecycle and progress requirements. They maintain project schedules, update production trackers, and deliver status updates through daily meetings and weekly reports. The coordinator fosters collaborative relationships with internal teams and contractors, ensuring clear communication and gathering data for reporting. They consistently update SmartSheets, track invoices against budgets, and manage competing priorities while aligning stakeholders to project objectives and schedules. By maintaining focus on critical priorities, the coordinator ensures the timely and efficient completion of project.

Essential Functions

• Coordinates on all project activities to ensure lifecycle, and progress requirements are met.
• Maintains project schedule and production tracker delivers daily status to leadership through meetings and provides weekly reports.
• Gathers billing documentation, creates invoices in QuickBooks, and submits all billing and supporting documentation into Prism.
• Build collaborative, respectful relationships with internal team and contractor partners to ensure the free flow of information needed for reports; build trust to ensure a productive working relationship. Gathers the data needed for all progress reporting and updates SmartSheets daily.
• Ensures project schedule is always current; ensures production tracker is updated daily.
• Ensures all partners are aligned to the working schedule and meeting objectives.
• Ensure all invoices are accurately tracked according to budget and paid on time.
• Consistently flexes to manage competing priorities, interruptions due to requests from multiple external stakeholders, while keeping momentum on critical priorities.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

• Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and construction Smart Sheets is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
• Must successfully build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and contractor partners.
• Entrepreneurial: self-starters with the ability to keep pace with project requirements and flex based on competing priorities, while ensuring work resumes after interruptions are managed.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to gather and record information from a variety of sources and report it.
