Job Description
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Cable Lineman with a solid background in cable splicing.
- In-depth knowledge of cable infrastructure and HFC networks. Comcast system knowledge is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of up to 10 people.
- Proficiency in using Excel and Adobe for basic reporting and administrative tasks.
- High time management and organizational abilities to balance field and office responsibilities.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and lead a team of up to 10 technicians.
- Oversee the high split work including but not limited to amp cuts, node cuts. Oversee new-build jobs.
- Manage field operations, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources and on-time project delivery.
- Ensure safety compliance and operational standards during field activities.
- Use basic Excel and Adobe tools to maintain accurate records and generate reports.
- Split your time: 80% in the field overseeing projects and 20% in the office managing documentation and planning.
This is a position for a candidate that is looking for a long term job with steady income as well as ability to make extra money if doing production work.
