Qualifications
> 2+ years of cable mapping experience is preferred > Knowledge of cable design & OSP basic construction practices of cable systems > Ability to read & interpret maps, drawings & diagrams associated with CATV projects > Strong analytical, observational & communication skills > Ability to draw digitally in software program Bluebeam & access files with Dropbox app

* Must be able to pass background check (5-year clear record with no felonies or misdemeanors) & a drug test *Must own a tablet, IPAD or MS Surface * Must be highly responsible & self-motivated *Strong analytical, observational & communication skills are required *Ability to work independently with minimal supervision *Ability to communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
Job Description
Subcontractors are required to carry and provide proof of insurance for general liability, workers' compensation, auto coverage, etc. and must be authorized to work in the United States. Must have reliable transportation with valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
• Perform walkout surveys to accurately collect, measure and record existing plant data on a provided print.
• Obtain the correct field information, record verification, document all details for aerial and underground telecommunications including
fiber, coax, poles, pedestals, nodes. and more.
• Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with customer SOW and industry specifications.
• Perform field walkout assignments daily over varying terrain and in all weather conditions.
