We have a full-time need for a Telecom Manager/Field Inspector in Buda, TX, with expertise in Outside Plant (OSP), as well as aerial and underground systems.
What You’ll Do
Works closely with internal groups, design, permit and manage construction of new fiber network
Monitors infrastructure builds, reviews and approves work that has met customer’s construction standards
Manage contractors/subcontractors
Provide detailed daily/weekly reports.
Will meet with contractors, permitting agencies, Engineering firms, customers, other OSP engineers and vendors to coordinate/mitigate projects
Utilizes a variety of systems for the processing and reporting of work activities, documentation of
Attend company and client status meetings as required.
Experience with OTDR testing and interpreting results a plus
Must have dependable vehicle.
What You’ll Need
Must have 5+ years of experience in the Telecommunications or Broadband industry, with a focus on Outside Plant (OSP) required
Must have experience with FTTH.
Must be able to pass Background and Drug screening
Must have a good driving record.
Must be able to lift 75+ lbs. continuously.
Able to work with minimal supervision and complete tasks assigned in a timely manner.
