Job Description
We are seeking skilled Data Center Technicians responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network access points, wireless access points (WAP), CAT 6 cabling, and surveillance camera systems, including CCTV and access control systems within our data center environment within our data center environment. This role ensures secure, efficient, and reliable network and surveillance solutions to support data center operations and client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Configuration: Set up , WAPs, CAT 6 cabling, and CCTV cameras and access control systems ensuring optimal layout and connectivity within the data center.
Network Management: Oversee network infrastructure, including CAT 6 cabling, to support data center connectivity, performance, and security requirements.
Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to, WAPs, CAT 6 cabling, and surveillance equipment to maintain uninterrupted operations.
Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, testing, and updates of network systems, CAT 6 infrastructure, and CCTV systems for optimal performance and security.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, configurations, and CAT 6 cabling layouts for compliance and audit purposes.
Requirements:
Knowledge of data center network protocols, configurations, and CAT 6 cabling standards.
Experience with wireless networking, structured cabling, and CCTV systems in a data center environment.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
