Job Description
Discover a more connected career with Eustis Cable Enterprises, Ltd. As a coax splicer, you'll work in telecommunications construction, splicing coaxial system networks for communication companies. ECE has been in business for over 30 years, comprised of a highly seasoned management team and construction group who are eager for you to join.
What you'll accomplish:
- Perform tasks associated with upgrades and splicing of coaxial cable, both aerial and underground.
- Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment
- Ensure quality for industry and customer standards.
- Document work performed through daily production reports, including marking up maps and recording correct material usage.
- Safely navigate working with a variety of heights
- Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly
What you'll need:
- 18 Years of age or older
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Related work experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be able to pass DOT physical exam
Additional qualifications
- Capable of demonstrating proficiency as a pole climber
- Travel throughout New England
- Willingness to participate in active learning. Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to work alone with little supervision.
- Must be able to work in inclement weather.
- Other tasks as assigned.
