Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in coaxial cable splicing or related field. Proficient in the use of coaxial splicing tools, such as fusion splicers, OTDRs, and signal level meters. Knowledge of coaxial cable systems, including RG6, RG11, and hardline coax. Relevant industry certifications, such as SCTE (Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers) are preferred. Ability to lift/carry heavy equipment, work at heights, perform tasks that require fine motor skills. Comfortable working outside.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Coax Splicing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the splicing, testing, and troubleshooting of coaxial cable to ensure optimal network performance. This role requires a strong understanding of coaxial cable systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety.
• Perform coaxial cable splicing, including mid-span splicing, and terminations. Ensure that all connections meet industry standards and client specifications.
• Install and maintain coaxial cable infrastructure, including amplifiers, splitters, and related equipment. Conduct routine maintenance and repair to ensure system reliability.
• Use specialized tools and equipment to test signal strength, continuity, and quality of spliced cables. Diagnose and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
• Accurately document splicing work, including cable routes, splice locations, and any modifications made. Maintain records of completed work for future reference.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines. Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to coordinate activities and ensure project milestones are met.
