Must be an experienced Fiber/Coax Cable Technician and must be familiar with Residential Installations.
Other Requirements
WHITE TRUCK / VAN with commercial ladder rack on it. Must have tools, meter and safety equipment. Must have valid Driver License / Registration / Insurance.
Job Description
Fiber/Coax Cable Technicians are responsible for installing cable television, phone systems and internet systems in homes. While specific Cable Technician job duties can vary depending on the type of systems they work with (i.e., cable television, digital phone line, internet, etc.), general duties for Cable Technicians include:
• Provide high level of customer service;
• Plan for installing data and voice cables for residential cable television and home router systems;
• Upgrading / Downgrading existing cable television and internet systems;
• Performing cable system maintenance.
