MDU - Fiber Technician Job Application
We are currently seeking skilled and experienced MDU - Fiber Technicians to join our team. If you have a passion for working with fiber optic technology and are ready to contribute to our projects, we invite you to apply.
Responsibilities:
• Install, splice, and terminate fiber optic cables.
• Troubleshoot and repair fiber networks as needed.
• Perform wallfishing, work in attics, crawlspaces, and complete wrap-arounds.
• Ensure high-quality installations in residential and commercial properties.
• Maintain customer service excellence while interacting with clients.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a MDU - Fiber Technician.
• Knowledge of fiber splicing, installations, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and confined areas.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-oriented, professional, and courteous.
• Willingness to travel and work across multiple states.
1099- Independent Contractors:
• Must have reliable transportation (truck or van).
• Must own necessary tools and have proper insurance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, customers, and team members.
• Strong focus on safety and performance standards.
Recommendation:
• Teams of 5 are preferred for optimal efficiency.
• Arriving 30 minutes before start time.
Compensation:
• Pay varies by location, ranging from $65 to $115 per completed unit.
• Paid two weeks after invoice.
• No retainage for crews without damages.
