Job Description
As Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of cable construction projects. You will manage a team of crews and subcontractors to ensure the successful installation and maintenance of cable systems. This role requires excellent organizational skills, technical expertise in cable construction, and strong leadership abilities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Supervise and lead a team of construction crews, and subcontractors.
Assign tasks, set objectives, and provide guidance to team members.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance team skills.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Quality Assurance and Compliance, Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards during construction.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure work quality and compliance with specifications.
Address any non-compliance issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, permits, and certifications.
Keep up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Stakeholder Communication:
Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Provide regular project updates, including milestones, progress, and potential risks.
Address client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Resolve conflicts or issues that arise during the construction process.
Budget and Cost Management:
Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to the approved budget.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project quality.
Review and approve invoices, purchase orders, and contractor payments.
Prepare financial reports and forecasts for project stakeholders.
