Minimum 3 to 5 years of high-level coax/fiber construction management. Preferred is a candidate that has worked from the ground up and can provide leadership and direction to all phases of operations. A strong background in business administration is a plus.

The Area Construction Manager's position will be responsible for providing leadership, oversight and direction for all aspects of a regional operation. You will be the primary liaison between CAT5 and our customers, while managing construction and office activity. Experience in managing large groups of in-house and subcontract personnel is required. Quality assurance and safety are overriding goals along with the imperative demand to satisfy customer needs.

Design - Complete Understanding Coax/Fiber Architecture, Maps and Splice Docs
Make Ready Engineering and Construction
Plat Maps - ROWs and Easements
Project Walkouts – White Lines
Knowledge of Aerial/UG Construction Materials and Tools
Aerial Construction- Coax/Fiber Construction Processes
UG Construction- Locates, Drilling, Plowing, Trenching, Missiles and Cable Placement
Fiber Splicing - CWDM, DWDM, GPON, FTTP, Loose Tube and Ribbon Fiber, OTDR and other Testing.
Commercial Installation Processes
Quality Assurance
Permitting - ROW, Traffic
Safety
Traffic Control
CDL Requirements
DOT
Damage Mitigation
Fleet Management
Admin - Excel, Word and Outlook
