Job Description
• Directs the day-to-day field operations crews and expectations for the entire team, including delegation of work, accountability metrics, performance management, etc.
• Ensures successful management to attain daily, weekly and monthly goals.
• Proactively manages changes in project scopes; can effectively forecast delays and/or issues and create solutions for any strategic changes that need to occur to ensure the overall project success.
• Strategic and forward-thinking leader; Drives and participates in the strategic planning and ability to perform all functions within the crews.
• Partners and communicates with the Field Supervisors to meet goals and deadlines.
• Accountable, Self-Motivated, and Self-Managed to complete tasks within deadlines provided and holds others accountable to same expectations; ensures processes are complete with a high level of follow through and follow up.
• Performs other position duties when requested.
• Ability to build Fiber Cable
• Ability to splice Fiber Cable
• Ability to clean vehicles, trailers, tools and equipment (free of trash)
• Ability to perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
• Ability to safely and correctly direct multi-directional traffic and appropriate signage
• Ability to ensure equipment is safely and securely stored.
• Ability to advise Manager of any required maintenance or repairs.
• Keep an inventory of splice materials needed on a regular basis.
