Qualifications
Experienced Cable Techs on HFC, strong problem-solving skills, ability to troubleshoot network plant issues effectively, experience in equipment balancing, and ability to read system prints, and make all necessary repairs accordingly.
Other Requirements
Valid driver's License, pass a drug/background test, must have a bucket truck and ladder, must have Cable meter JDSU/DSAM, Viavi, or VeeX., and all necessary cable tools, must have GL (general liability) and truck insurance, and access to smartphone and laptop for the job.
Job Description
As a contractor, you will be working directly for a local cable company fixing line problems, noise ingress, balancing, and troubleshooting HFC systems.
Techs will be utilizing problem-solving skills to troubleshoot network plant systems, read system prints, and make necessary repairs.
Must be able to climb poles if required.
