High School Diploma or similar required, Bachelors degree in construction, business management or engineering preferred. 3 + years experience in the FTTH/ Telecom construction field. Ability to manage multiple crews at a time. Excellent communication skills. Ability to lead daily team meetings for safety and work planning. Ability to creatively solve problems and implement change. Strong understanding of Construction drawings, prints and permits.
Other Requirements
Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure in a fast paced fluid environment. Ability to obtain OSHA 30 and CPR certs. Willing to live locally.
Job Description
The Construction Supervisor oversees FTTH/Telecom construction crews. The Construction Supervisor's responsibilities include monitoring crew performance and making recommendations for improvement, motivating, and educating teams in areas of production, quality, and safety. This position ensures projects stay within budget, on schedule, and that required materials and equipment are available while adhering to safety guidelines. The successful candidate will be reliable, deadline-driven, able to demonstrate a sound understanding of safety regulations and building codes, and be able to transfer this knowledge to the team.
