Qualifications
Tech MUST have working and maintained work truck/van with ladder rack. The following may be provided at a weekly rental cost, 28/32 foot ladder, 6 foot ladder, own cable tools, impact and hammer drill, viavi meter for certification, light meter, fusion splicer and safety equipment. We are willing to train non experienced local candidates. Pay codes are stackable and will be discussed during in person local interview.

Cable Installation & Fiber Technicians needed for Warsaw, VA and surrounding area.

Requirements:
Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test
Must have Truck, Van, Or SUV
Must have a strong working knowledge of basic hand tools including a powered drill.
Must have problem-solving skills and able to think on your feet.
Carry, climb, operate, and work upon an extension ladder (approximately 28 feet high and 75 pounds).
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Must be able to follow QC standards.
Must have strong communications skills and experience working with customers
Must present a positive, professional image at all times.
Responsibilities:
Perform installations, upgrades and repairs of residential cable products and services.
Installation of aerial and underground cable drops and outlets.
Install and configure customer computers, wireless routers, television sets, cable set-top equipment and other similar equipment.
Maintain minimum benchmarks on performance metrics.
Help with field training of new technicians who are going through the training program.
Carry out all work performed in the safest possible manner.
Manage, track and organize client equipment and small parts. Must be able to account for the usage of all equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
