Qualifications
3 or more years of experience, able to read and comprehend schematics and prints, able to travel (NH/ME/VT), strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills, able to perform exfo IOLM and OLTS testing, be proficient in ribbon and loose tube splicing
Other Requirements
must be 18 with a valid drivers license, able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical and criminal background check, able to lift 50 pounds , work in inclement weather, work aerial using bucket trucks/ladders/hooks
Job Description
-perform all work in a safe and professional manner
-splice fiber optic cable on both aerial and underground telecom infrastructure
-independently build,prep,splice , tag, and test networks to meet customer requirements
-locate and repair cable faults in existing networks
-maintain project information and customer required paperwork
