Job Description
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Underground Cable Construction Technicians. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation and maintenance of underground cables using the JT10 drilling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drilling Operations: Operate the JT10 drilling equipment with precision and accuracy to bore underground pathways for cable installation.
2. Cable Installation: Assist in the laying and installation of underground cables according to project specifications and safety guidelines.
3. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on drilling equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
4. Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including supervisors and engineers, to coordinate drilling operations and ensure project deadlines are met.
6. Quality Control: Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control throughout the cable installation process to ensure reliable and efficient performance.
Requirements:
1. Experience operating JT10 or similar drilling equipment preferred.
2. Knowledge of underground cable installation techniques and procedures.
3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
4. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
6. Commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations.
7. Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor environments and confined spaces.
Hourly Pay and Bonus Structure:
Hourly pay will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to hourly pay, performance-based bonuses will be offered based on factors such as productivity, efficiency, and safety compliance.
