Job Description

Direct Sales Representatives are responsible for the door to door promotion and sale of Metronet products and services to include internet and telephone. This role focuses primarily to sales in single family units and occasionally to multiple dwelling units. The Direct Sales Rep must develop knowledge of Metronet products/services and maximize sales through effectively working assigned turf.

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Metronet products, promoting and selling offerings to individual customers by knocking every door within assigned territory. Displays familiarity with features, benefits, product differences, pricing, and campaigns for internet and telephone.
- Evaluates individual customers' existing and potential product needs and makes recommendations. Increases the customers understanding of Metronet products and pricing as well as competitive advantages over other service providers.
- Possesses basic knowledge of selling techniques and turf management; shows confidence in selling ability.
- Displays basic time management and organizational skills.
- Possesses strong communication skills.
- Must meet the physical requirements of the job including, but not limited to the ability to walk and/or travel door-to-door for considerable distances in all types of weather conditions.
