Job Description
We are seeking hard-working, dependable Operators and Laborers to join our crew for the upcoming construction season, starting April 2024.
We Run Vermeer Drills, DCI Electronics, Vermeer Cable plows, Case Backhoes, Kubota Mini X
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, and pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Job Requirements:
Safely and properly handle the equipment
Willing to perform job functions in a safe and timely manner
Have a current valid driver's license
Maintain a current health certificate or be able to obtain one
Have the ability to lift at least 75 pounds
Have the ability to stand, kneel, bend, squat, twist as needed throughout the day
Operate a variety of hand and power tools
Perform light repair and maintenance of tools and equipment
Hand dig and backfill trenches
Cooperate with laborers and other equipment operators to complete tasks efficiently and with good quality
Maintain a willingness to help out with other job functions at all times
Communicate with crew members as tasks and/or conditions change
Safety Requirements
Wear required PPE at all times
Safely drive company vehicles to include safe transport and proper load securement
Attend required safety meetings/training
Inspect tools and equipment daily
Recognize any hazards around existing underground and overhead utilities
Set up/tear down temporary traffic control and safety barricades
Work safely and responsibly so as not to intentionally or unintentionally injure anyone on the job site
Seek assistance if there is any question on how to safely perform a task
Report any unsafe working conditions to supervisors and safety committee personnel
