As we continue to expand our Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) network, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Fiber Technician Supervisor to join our dynamic team.
Position Summary:
The Fiber Technician Supervisor will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic networks, with a focus on Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) infrastructure. This position requires a candidate with a strong background in fiber optics, proven leadership skills, and a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Leadership:
Lead and manage a team of Fiber Technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, emphasizing safety, quality, and efficiency.
- FTTH Network Deployment:
Oversee the installation, termination, splicing, and testing of fiber optic cables in FTTH projects.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications for fiber optic network deployments.
- Quality Assurance:
Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address any issues promptly.
- Project Management:
Coordinate with project managers to plan and execute fiber optic network projects.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful and timely completion.
- Technical Expertise:
Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to fiber optic networks and FTTH.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex technical issues.
- Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and customer service, to achieve overall company objectives.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in fiber optics, with a focus on FTTH network deployments.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of fiber optic splicing, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to fiber optic networks.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
