Job Description
Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Inspect fiber optic construction sites to ensure they comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Record GPS locations of fiber optic cable paths and facilities.
Conduct quality control checks to ensure that the work meets or exceeds the specifications outlined in the project plan.
Communicate with contractors and other construction personnel to ensure they are meeting project requirements.
Report any discrepancies or problems with the construction site to superiors for resolution.
Identify and recommend improvements to the construction process to enhance efficiency and maintain project objectives.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all construction activity and project status Other: Perform other related duties as required.
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and schematics.
Physically fit to work in potentially challenging outdoor environments.
Willingness to learn and ability to adapt to new technologies and processes.
Punctuality and reliability.
