This position is salaried offering $52,000 - $66,000 based on experience.

Qualifications

Valid DL. 5+ years experience in management and leadership. 2+ years experience in utilities construction or telecommunications home services industry with extensive knowledge and experience in leading and managing FTTX, FTTH, Fiber, or broadband projects is preferred. Great communication both written and verbal. Attention to detail.

Job Description

Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Project Manager is to coordinate the workflow and the efficiencies within the project(s) while acting as the primary point of contact for each applicable customer in a manner that provides effective accountability to meet the individual project targets and expectations as set by upper management while maintaining our customer’s confidence and fulfilling their expectations.

The Project Manager will communicate with team members, associates, and customers, forecast capacity and asset needs, and make well-planned, cost-effective decisions while monitoring the efficiency, performance, production, and productivity within each individual project with the objective of hitting established goals. The Project Manager will perform their responsibilities in a manner that aligns with the company culture, mission, vision, values, virtues, policies, and procedures, while meeting company safety and installation quality standards and delivering an exceptional customer experience and company profitability.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*Manage, supervise and direct all aspects of the assigned project(s) to achieve maximum efficiency.
*Forecast and monitor production and resources needed in a manner that maintains the appropriate resources such as inventory, vehicles, machines, and personnel at the appropriate time as needed.
*Managing the team that is responsible for the daily operations of the assigned project(s).
*Project Operational Cost Control.
*Work closely with the Installation Supervisor(s), and Project Supervisor(s) to maintain alignment with company targets and goals for productivity.
*Identify operational problems or obstacles, troubleshoot, and provide feasible solutions to correct any deficiencies.
*Manage and measure departmental performance against established targets and budgets.
*Create long-term and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
*Delegate tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them.
*Make effective and efficient decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress.
*Weekly status reporting based on production verification.
*Communicate with executives to keep the project(s) aligned with the company goals.
*Ensure quality control throughout the project to maintain the standards expected.
*Work alongside your team to ensure the completion of all the tasks is performed in the most efficient manner that ensures the success of the project.
*Invoice reconciliation assistance against production verification to support the billing team as requested.
*Perform formal and informal evaluations and provide feedback.
*Perform administrative functions, such as submitting accident reports, and disciplinary forms, reporting missed days at work, and site updates.
*Team management: utilize team members to their fullest potential, encourage collaboration, mitigate conflict, enforce rules, and foster positive communication, acknowledgment, and appreciation.
*Effective project management: apply company methodology, enforce standards, manage overtime, minimize exposure to risk and ensure completion of work to company standards.
*Communicate relevant information to appropriate parties, and resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely manner.
