In order to find out if the company has filed bankruptcy, the company must be able to give you a case number or at least the name of an attorney that can give you that number. If he can not furnish you with either than the odds are he has not filed and is just yanking you around. Immediately go to the court and get the paperwork filed. Again, be careful if there were no contracts and you were receiveing under the table money. And if you werent paying taxes on this money in any shape or form. You will be contacted by the IRS. Those records are forwarded on.
