Some Tech's prefer using the local function on your pathtrack option to track ingress while myself and others use the spectrum mode. Try both and see which one works best for you. Make sure you have your internal amp and low pass filter turned on in the meter. I typically will go amp to amp isolating the noise probing on the output of the return gain stage for better picture. Then to isolate use a eagle high/lowpass filter. This procedure works great for one person to track ingress or CPD but if your tracking electical impulse you'll waste time if you dont have someone either at the receiver (at the hub or headend) or on the output testpoint of the transmitter at the node.
