42dB, I did have a look at the specification of the BTPDA-4 on the Blonder Tongue web site, and this is what I saw for technical description:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Digital Signal Quality Test on Adjacent channel: YES
Digital Signal Quality Test on Nearest channel: YES
Digital Package Flatness Digital_Degraded-Analog: YES
Digital Power Alarm Too High-Too Low: YES
Leakage Measurement: YES
Measurement Stability according to temperature: 0.02 dB
Stereo Carrier Presence: YES
It say it read QAM but does't tell how, MER, BER or just level?
----------------------------------------------------------------
I am sorry I would't buy any meter which such specification, this is the major reason, I never liked Blonder Tongue equipments or material for CATV system. Any company that put up specification like these is eitheir lying or are affraid to put the real specification.
I just do not like poeple buy measuring instrument and not getting good one.
NO OFFENSE INTENDED.
