A source and Power meter would be way cheaper than an OTDR it also would give you an over-all loss but it would'nt help to find a problem if there is one. where are you located? I have both OTDR And power source/meter. My Ph. # is:(708)212-5217 E-mail: (-REDACTED-)

My boss went to fotec and bought a small trainging kit and they told him he could do acceptance testing with it. Well its a pain in the @$$ and I know that a OTDR would be faster and lower cost in the long run. Pleas say you agree and e-mail me (-REDACTED-) Thanks :)
