Re: Need advice on pulling cable in conduit

How old or damaged is your conduit? Pulling a single 875 through 2 inch should be pretty easy no matter what you put on it. unless you are dealing with 24" or less sweeps. The suggestion below is probably the best your are going to get without a sock. There is one more way to tie mule tape to cablw. at the forward end of your cable take a single stran of mill tape and measure down about a foot and a half. at the tip of the cable you will take the tape and invert a circle down the cable with the tape leaving about a three inch space between each loop . your tape will look like one continous line on one side of the cable and spaced bands on the other. tape it up with duct tape real good. send some snot down the line, flush out the pipe, push like a mother, and pull like an ox. take it easy(beerchug)(usa)

> Yes You can get you a piece of mule tape about six feet long fold it in half with a loop big enough(about 1 in.)to tie the pull roape to.Start criss crossing it down keep it tite when you run out tape it up relly good I use it pulling ant cable threw dips if you have any questions call me Joe 706-602 4838 or e-mail me joeswaysback1@aol good luck! p.s. thats the best way I have found and it works really well(cool)
