running a microwave across water. A high tower is needed
to reduce reflections off of the water if the water is
smooth (multipath) and the signal can "bend" downward due to
atmospheric conditions (those days when the smoke out of
chimneys goes down instead of up) appearing to be misalignment
of dish.

microwave system that would go up to 550 meg's & is 2 way. We are currently using an underwater line that goes 2100 feet across an inlet. We only serve about 100 customers. The line seems to get cut every 4 or 5 years. Right now the signal is rolling off alot at the highend. >
