I can't confirm, but have heard that Dycom and Mastec are under contract with Comcast. You have to work for one of their companies to get in. On the AT&T upgrade in the S.F. Bay Area the contractors have been told to finish what they have and that is all they get, they have to talk to Cable Com about subbing.
