Hello,I was merely demonstrating what could be done.I would never recommend it be done that way.The proper way to have covered your ass in this situation is to have a copy of your contract signed by you and the employer,as well as the following, copies of your prints, copies of your invoices, they should have been signed,as to date recieved and being accepted,as well as copies of same said work QC report as realesed as good work approved, signed and dated, copies of your warehouse issue, copies of your certificates of insurance all types. Take this paperwork and carry it to their employer, whether it be the sub, prime or mother co. .If you have all your paper work and you present your case properly you will usually get paid.If you are working for a fly by night you have problems to begin with. If you cannot resolve the issue and your paperwork is in order, contact an attorney they will handle it on a contingcy basis.I hope this helps.
