Very commom to be told that a job is ready. Then drive that diesel drinking bastard 50 miles to find tails hanging all over the place. One of my favorites happened last week. After sitting around for a week, the announcement came. "The Parts are in!" I drove to the warehouse 55 miles away to be told, "Sorry about that, the parts did not come in. They will be in tomorrow." Yeah right. Nothing better than being jerked around.
> I have only been in cable for five years. In those five years the one common denominator among all contractors (prime or subs)is they simply cannot tell the truth, and we all know that if you tell one lie then you will have to tell three more to cover the first one and so-on. Next time there is no work just say there is no work, instead of making others mad with your childish lies.
