Two found dead in complex
Two men were found shot to death at an apartment complex on Campbellton Road Wednesday night.
Police said the victims, both in their mid-30s, were found at the Heritage Apartments in the 2400 block of Campbellton Road about 9:30 p.m. Both worked for a satellite service provider or a cable company and were in the complex in a white pickup truck with Louisiana tags.
The victims were identified by Mark Ruffin of the Fulton County Medical Examiner's office as Corey Nunn of Stone Mountain and Corey Whitehead of New Orleans.
One of the men was found shot outside a building, said Atlanta police Sgt. John Quigley. The second man was shot multiple times while he was inside the truck. He managed to drive about 100 feet before crashing into a pole.
Also Wednesday night, police were called to the 600 block of Auburn Avenue, where a body was found about 10:15. That death, however, was ruled a suicide, said Atlanta police Sgt. Bob Creasy.
