> How would this work with one or even multi riser's on the pole,exposed telephone line that has no riser guard would be prone to damage from the pressure telephone terminal boxes that have drop line coming from them with drop running down the pole could possible get pinched and go out of service,I think I'll stick to using my hand's as balance on the pole.

likely to occur by the boot gaffs. Poles with
obstructions are better accessed by ladders.
