Rumors are flying all over the place in Denver. Rumor has it that there will be 3 primes in Denver next year. Mastec, Southwest communications, and CCG. Then again on 11/26/02 supposedly other contractors picked all of Mastec materials because they were leaving. 2 primes that are here now (DEA and TCS) are sopposedly not going to be offered a upgrade contract but will maintain their maintenance (new build) contracts. It is being said that Comcast wants 400+ splicers here next year to complete the Denver metro area by the end of next year. Chose your prime wisely, it is said if you start with one prime, and you wish to switch to another you must wait 60 days before you can work for another prime. Once again these are rumors that I don't hnow if they are true or not. Good luck. Hope this helps.
