I used something similar while splicing and sweeping for Cable Constructors a couple years ago, but it had a friction fit rather than threads. My lead gave it to me, and I think he probably got it from Klugness Electronic Supply which is Cable Constructors sister company. Their address is 105 Kent Street, Iron Mountain, MI 49801.
